ESM Get Event

Activity Description​

Retrieves a list of McAfee ESM events according to the selected time frame and criteria.

Output​

A ResultSet of all matching events.

Settings​

  • Module Name—The McAfee ESM module name.
  • Requested Fields—The requested fields containing the events to be retrieved.
  • Time:
    • Time Frame—When selecting a time frame (either predefined or custom), only days/hours/minutes are respected. Seconds are rounded off to the nearest minute. This affects the results returned for the specific time frame. Note that time labels in date-related columns are represented in the GMT time zone.
    • From Time—The start date of the time frame.
    • To Time—The end date of the time frame.
  • Filters—Filters are applied (by the activity) to events that contain values in the specified field. Click Add to add filters to the list, or Edit to modify the existing filters.
